Our guests stay in a friendly environment of reciprocal exchange, in the spirit of responsible tourism. You can stay either in small independent houses built of lava stone according to the local architectural traditions, or in the Straw Bale House itself. You can take part in the agricultural activities (according to the season) and enjoy our local food.
We organise excursions to Mt Etna and to other significant permaculture, social and anti-mafia activities of the region. Straw Bale House is in an ideal position for visiting any of the numerous tourist attractions of Sicily (Etna, the coast, the Alcantara river park, Taormina, Modica, Noto, Siracusa, tree climbing and canopy walking etc.).
